The below video is a summation of all the information regarding the new Ghostbusters movie. It's got some spoilers. So be aware that you might be getting some of the plot information by watching this video.

I would boil the problem down to 3 things. Number One, you have a studio exec who wouldn't know Talent if it bit her on the leg.Two, you have a director who is wrong for this type of film. Three, you have a
spin machine that seems to think that it's ok to attack your audience rather than listen to it.

Combine all three and you have a Jabootu holiday in the making.

Which touched off a firestorm of attacks on how he hates women, even though he only mentioned the female cast ONCE in passing. Looks like a bomb and with the attacks on the fans the studio and supporters seem to be frantically digging their own grave...

To put it another way, I am going to treat this like the latest ill-advised go at the Fantastic Four and wait to watch the 20 minutes abridged takedown version that will surely turn up eventually as a part of the "Everything Wrong With [insert film here]" series on YouTube.

And why a human villain? Wasn't a horde of angry ghosts bad enough?

And ugh, Slimer. I remember how he dragged down the original animated show. They actually think he could carry a movie on his own?

The next few weeks will determine the viability of the franchise. But forces are aligning to attempt to make a sequel.
