That last one is Dinosaur Girl, my first published character. I included this sketch in my Christmas card to my regular inker Jeff Austin, and he inked the image for me!

Um, it's from a book from Dougal Dixon called 'Man After Man' about most of mankind leaving Earth for space and the remaining earthers undergoing an environmental cataclysim causing civilization to collapse. Due to many species having been wiped out future humanity refilled the open niches with genetically modified humans like the plains dweller at the top. Over time they evolve into other forms like the tundra dweller on the bottom.

What it has to do with Christmas Eric will have to fill in, I'm stumped...

I have a weird sense of humor. I thought the e-card was was funny in a bizarre kind of way. What could be more Christmasy than two post-humans wrestling in the snow? Merry Christmas everyone!

Oh, and I didn't make the card. I saw it a few years ago and thought WTF but then started to chuckle. It's kind of like a Far Side Christmas card.

Well, I think we all have a weird sense of humour or we wouldn't spend so much time watching bad movies!

In the post human future nothing says Christmas dinner more than hunting down and eating your distant cousin...

Found this legally correct holiday greeting to be amusing:

"To whom it may concern:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all, and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2011, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or choice of computer platform of the wishee.

(By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.)

No attorneys were harmed in the making of this greeting."
